The Council of Turkish Cypriot Associations in the UK (CTCA) has announced the 7th Cyprus Turkish Culture Festival, which aims to strengthen the unity and solidarity of the Cyprus Turkish community, celebrate their culture, and pass down their heritage to the younger generations. The event is scheduled to take place on Sunday, June 30th, at Donkey Lane in Enfield.

In a statement they said “We are thrilled to announce the 7th Turkish Cypriot Culture Festival, a testament to our shared commitment as a Turkish Cypriot family. With seven years of positive momentum, this annual event is dedicated to fostering unity, celebrating cultural richness, and passing down our heritage. Your continued support has been invaluable, and we look forward to hosting an enriching festival that resonates with the people of London. Thank you for being an essential part of this journey, and we anticipate celebrating together with great enthusiasm.”

The festival, which will bring participants together with colorful activities, traditional flavours, music, and dance, aims to introduce Cyprus Turkish culture to a wider audience.. The focus of the festival will be on sharing cultural richness and passing it on to future generations.

Last year, the festival was held with the participation of thousands of people after a pause due to the pandemic. The event, attended by the President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), Ersin Tatar, and Prime Minister Ünal Üstel, showcased Cyprus culture, cuisine, and talented artists.
