The recently established London Turkish Community, initiated by businessman Mehmet Pakoz, has commenced its activities after determining its organizational structure through a meeting held on Sunday. Mehmet Pakoz assumed the presidency of the London Turkish Community, with Ali Güvercin and Atilla Üstün appointed as vice presidents. The organization aims to contribute value to the community and positively impact lives through social responsibility projects, emphasizing the slogan “adding value to the community in unity.”
Following the distribution of duties, President Mehmet Pakoz stated that their focus is on developing a respectful and reputable youth, with a focus on areas such as economy, sports, local politics, and cultural activities. The organization’s goals include providing investment consultancy to guide young people in making the right investments, establishing a sports academy to direct the youth towards sports, aspiring to enter the English league with a strong football team, becoming actively involved in local municipalities to address citizens’ issues, and organizing festivals each year, among other priorities.
