SUK Prepares Special Events to Celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the Turkish Republic
The Ataturk Society UK (ASUK) nd is preparing to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Turkish Republic with great enthusiasm. Here are the details of the celebration program and statements from ASUK President Jale Özer:
“The special gala event celebrating the 100th Anniversary of the Republic has attracted significant interest, and all seats are now filled. As the Ataturk Society UK we are excited to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Republic with great enthusiasm.”
At the event will be hosted by Dilek Livaneli, the creator of the “Bir Dilek Yetmez” (One Wish Is Not Enough) Project and the first Turkish teacher to be selected among the world’s top 50 teachers and will be including guest such as Dr. Sedef Kabaş, a Political and Communication Scientist, Journalist, and Author, specially invited from Turkey.
With Live orchestra, original music, and dance groups for an unforgettable evening taking place at Grand Palace Banqueting Suite on October 28, 2023, Saturday at 7pm .
On Sunday a second event will be held at Limehouse Library Hotel (638 Commercial Road, London E14 7HS) from 2-4pm, where a Conversation and Book Signing with Dr. Sedef Kabaş will take place.
Adding that “ASUK is eager to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Republic with great enthusiasm and share this meaningful event with the Turkish community in the UK. These events are open to all citizens.’’
