Ezo Sarıcı takes to the stage once again

Ezo Sarıcı, a final-year student at the Royal Academy of Music, will perform in a concert alongside the Haslemere Symphony Orchestra on Saturday, October 14, 2023. Ezo will be featured as a soloist in the concert, where they will perform Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto in E Minor, one of the virtuosic pieces of the violin repertoire.

The Haslemere Symphony Orchestra, which is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year, will be conducted by British conductor James Ross, who has led over 1,000 works across four continents, including the Ankara City Philharmonic Orchestra.

Ezo Sarıcı, known for her contributions to charity concerts, including an earthquake relief concert held at the Royal Academy of Music, and her performances benefiting children’s hospitals, has achieved significant success in various international competitions. At the age of 16, she became the youngest violinist to receive the Paganini Special Prize at the “Virtuoso and Belcanto Violin Competition” in Italy. She also won the second prize at the “International Josef Micka Violin Competition” held in Prague.

The entrance fee for the concert at St. Christopher’s Church in Haslemere (GU27 1DD) is £16, with a 50% discount for music enthusiasts under 18.
