The Ataturk Society UK (ASUK) is organizing a special event to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Turkey.
The 100th Anniversary Republic Ball will take place on Saturday night, October 28, 2023, at the Grand Palace Banqueting Suite, the event which marks a special milestone this year with its centenary.
ASUK President Jale Özer stated, “We invite all our citizens who carry the love of Atatürk and the homeland in their hearts to this great gathering that will take place on the night of October 28, in order to support the Republic of Turkey, which is a secular, democratic, contemporary, social, and legal state, and to share this honour, enthusiasm, and excitement together.”
The guest of honour at the event will be the Political Scientist and Journalist-Author Sedef Kabaş. From the world of art, the T.C State Polyphonic Choir Artist Ethem Demir, Özgür Tandoğan, and his orchestra will present. As well as performances from the Logo Dance Academy and a special raffle draw taking place.
The event this year is dresscoded with guests asked to wear evening gowns or dresses, and men prefer tuxedos or suits. Tickets are £55 per person dinner and drinks are included in the price.
