Bicommunal Cypriot Festival taking place in North London

In a statement, the organisers said “Welcome everyone to the first Bicommunal Cypriot Festival in the UK. The event will take place on Sunday 8th October from 10:30 am – 8:30 pm. Organised by the Bicommunal Cypriot Festival Committee, they are calling for volunteers to reach out and get involved to help put together the event…”

Stating that their aim is to celebrate the Cypriot community and promote peaceful co-existence “Our aim is to bring together all the Cypriot Communities in celebration of their common culture, values and to express the desire to promote peaceful co-existence.”

With traditional foods, drinks, dances, songs and art shows and exhibitions with photography displays and theatre performances, as well as children’s events or a fun family day out for all. The event which will be free to attend will be taking place at the Cypriot Community Centre, Earlham Grover, London N22 5HJ from 10.30 am to 8.30 pm.
