THE family of 4-year-old Dillan Ramsey, who has leukaemia, made a plea for help after a tragic accident while they were on vacation in the UK.
Dillan’s mother, Amy, said: “My name is Amy, I have a 4 almost 5-year-old son named Dillan.
“Dillan was diagnosed with Leukemia at age 1 and was given a 93% cure rate. After 2 years of gruelling chemotherapy and suffering, Dillan relapsed Aug 2022. He had a bone marrow transplant at Christmas last year and relapsed again in March this year. He had Car T cell therapy in May this year.
“4 days ago we were told he has relapsed again in his bone marrow, and that there are no more treatment options in the UK, and that his chance at cure is now very small.
“Anything going forward would be an experimental trial, there is a trial open in Washington that starts in October which has to be self funded so we Dont have long to raise the money!
“Dillan should not have to go through this, he is the most precious, kind, amazing little boy with the funniest character. I can’t bare the thought of losing him, we need as much help financially as we can get.
“PLEASE HELP SAVE HIM, together as a community we found him a match last year, now we need your help to find him a cure!”
The fundraising campaign initiated through GoFundMe is ongoing. If you want to support Dillan, you can make a donation through the website- www.gofundme.com/f/please-help-save-dillans-life-and-fund-his-trial.
