THE Bexley Mayor Ahmet Durmuş’s wife, Mayoress Elmaziye Durmuş announced that Bexley Turkish Day Centre located in the Welling will be reopening.
IN a statement she said: “Our dear people, we bring you together with good news! Bexley Turkish Day Centre in the Welling area is back in operation after a long hiatus. The eagerly awaited opening ceremony will take place on Thursday, August 17, 2023 at 10 am.
“Bexley Turkish Day Centre, located in the Salvation Army Welling building in, is opening its doors again and is looking forward to seeing you among us. On this special day, we want to feel our people with us.
“Bexley Mayor Ahmet Durmuş and TRNC Ambassador’s Ambassador Çimen Keskin will also attend the opening ceremony. We will live a day full of friendship and solidarity with these special guests.
“We invite all our people to this meaningful opening ceremony. Bexley Turkish Day Centre will be much stronger with your support and participation. We invite everyone, remember, let’s make good memories together on this special day”
The event will take place at Salvation Army, 124 High Street, Welling, Kent, DA16 1TJ.
