Renowned London-based artist Suna Alan, known for her unique interpretations, has teamed up with Greek musicians to release three collaborative Kurdish and Greek songs for music lovers. With their acoustic live performances, Alan and her friends offer an unforgettable musical experience, and now they have made these special compositions available on all digital platforms for music enthusiasts.

The Kurdish and Greek songs prepared in collaboration between Alan and Greek musicians possess a distinctive and original structure that reflects the interaction between languages and musical forms. The project aims to encourage communication, understanding, and respect between different cultures. By bringing together Kurdish and Greek songs in a shared musical language, Suna Alan creates a cultural bridge.

The project features Suna Alan on Kurdish vocals and Hara Ioannidou on Greek vocals, accompanied by Mario Christofi on ud, Filippos Papasavvas on bouzouki, and ethnomusicologist Ed Emery on tzoura and rhythm. Suna Alan, known for her unique interpretations of Kurdish music, has now established a musical bridge by collaborating with Greek musicians. The resulting compositions include shared Kurdish and Greek songs, representing a unique musical experience brought to life through the collaboration of different cultures.

The production of the project, undertaken by Folktale Production, involved recording, mixing, and mastering processes carried out by the skilled Levent Canen. The performances, captured by Kenan Korkmaz, were held at the music and art venue DB Music London.

The acoustic live performance recordings of Suna Alan and Friends are now available for listeners. These songs can be accessed through various digital platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube Music. The project celebrates the interaction and musical unity between different cultures while presenting shared Kurdish and Greek songs to music enthusiasts.
