YELIZ Derviş, the talented player of Welling United FC U16 team was selected as the “Player of the Players” in the 22/23 season. Yeliz has been playing football since she was 5 years old and after previous teams such as Petts Wood FC and Beckenham Town FC, she wore the Welling United FC jersey this season.
She made 30 appearances throughout the season and was the central Defensive Midfielder.
A football player who draws attention with his talents and determination and stands out with his passion for football from an early age. The young talent is constantly improving his football skills and is getting better every day.
Yeliz, who also showed successful performances in her previous teams, took a big step with Welling United FC this season. With his outstanding performance in 30 games, he made significant contributions to his team and attracted attention. Playing in the central defensive midfield position, Derviş has an important role in the success of the team, demonstrating both his defensive and offensive skills effectively.
Next season, Yeliz will play in the Women’s First Team Development Team. This means that the team is actually in a separate league consisting of first-team substitutes who can then be selected for the first team as well.
