THE Turkish UK Golf Society held a tournament at Bush Hill Park Golf Club on Tuesday, March 14.
It was stated that women participated for the first time in the tournament, which was attended by 24 people. Speaking to the London Gazete, Turkish UK Golf Society president Ahmet Orgen said, “Our aim is to increase the number of our members and to see more female friends among us.”
After the competition, the participants enjoyed a meal and tournaments were presented awards by Captain Ahmet Orgen. İsmail Çakır won first place in the tournament, Mahmut Halim took second place, and Nilgün Ayrancıoğlu from the women in the long stroke competition.
