THE Turkish Woman Philanthropic Association (TWPA), one of the oldest associations established in London, organised a Mother’s Day event on Friday, March 17.
The women’s association, which has been serving Turkish-speaking communities in London for decades, celebrated Mother’s Day. The event occurred at Grand Palace Banqueting Suite at 12 noon on Friday and ended at 16.
Organized by TWPA, the event was attended by a large number of people including their members and members of the Turkish-speaking community joining together to enjoy each other company and the food and music which had been arranged.
Awards were given and speakers place where TWPA members thanked the attendees and also remembered those who are no long with us.
