THE Limassol Association UK and North London Cyprus Turkish Islamic Foundation held a Mevlit on Sunday, January 15th, to commemorate the death anniversary of Dr Fazıl Küçük and Founding President of The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus Rauf Raif Denktaş.
Representatives of non-governmental organizations and community members attended the Mevlit event held in North London. In the program to be jointly organized by the Limassol Association and the North London Turkish-Islamic Foundation, speeches were made about both remembering the late leaders and the legacy the hold to this day.
