ON Friday, December 9, members of the community joined together to attend a charity ball was held in north London by Cyprus Worldwide, the proceeds from the ball have been donated to the Cyprus Islamic Association.
Hoca Hüseyin Haşim, the head of the Cyprus Islamic Association thanked the Cyprus Worldwide group and said, “We were very happy to see everyone together thanks to this event, which was organized for a good purpose in unity and solidarity for a long time. We would like to thank everyone who participated and put in their efforts for this support for the Cyprus Islamic Community.”
Hundreds of community members enjoyed the event with music and food, taking part in raffles and celebrating together, while also showing their support to the charity which not only helps the Islamic community in the UK but across the world.
