PARTICULARLY loved by the Turkish Cypriot community, Osman Balıkçıoğlu and the Balıkçıoğlu cabaret theatre presented their recent theatre called “The Other Half of the Apple”.
The two-act tragicomic titled “The Other Half of the Apple” which Balikçıoğlu Cabaret Theatre put on stage this year was played on Sunday, October 23. There were two showings of the play for theatre lovers, the first at 15.00 and the second at 20.00 in the Millfield Theatre, London. The theatre play touched upon various social problems and made the audience think and laugh.
The musical theatre written by Osman Balıkçıoğlu was sponsored by The Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism. Hakan Ergün, the consultant of the Deputy Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey, Kemal Tunca, the consultant of the Deputy Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey, and Uğur Tanyeli, the Director of TIKA, attended the theatre play.
Balıkçıoğlu Cabaret Theater, which has been presenting plays involving Cypriot culture to the Turkish-speaking community in England for nine years, made the audience laugh and entertained with its music with its new play.
