Duygu Tagmaç & Arife Retvan

Arife Retvan, President of the  Limassol Association UK, who made the opening speech, briefly summarized the establishment purpose and achievements of the association and continued as follows “Poetry is the innocent thought of a child, the excitement stirring in young people, the emotions that everyone feels for one reason or another. Poems take us into a world without quarrels, you and me, where there is no resentment. Poetry contains lines that are settled in the hearts, watered with thoughts, bring beauty to the faces, freedom of thought to the brains, and add meaning to life. We would like to thank our dear Feyzan Korur who came from Cyprus and gave a beautiful meaning to our night, our poet friends who attended and presented their poems, and everyone who supported and watched with pleasure.”
