UNDER Day-Mer festival event, journalist and owner of Acik Gazete Faruk Eskioğlu will be taking part in a panel where he be talking about the history of labours struggle in society.
Eskioğlu will also speak at the panel titled “Labor Struggle in Society” to be held at the North London Community Centre (Day-Mer Tottenham) at “22 Moorfield Road, N17 6PY” on Friday, 17 June at 18:30. Eskioğlu said, “Even though it may seem that society is ‘scattered with dead soil’ and ‘leaf does not move’ in the labour struggle, the facts are not like that at all. I will explain at the panel,” he said. Eskioğlu, who is the author of a three-volume book titled “London’s Bizim’Kiler”, which tells about 100 years of immigration from Turkey to England and 150 years from Cyprus, will sign his books after the panel.
