HOŞ Seda Classical Music Choir wiped the rust of the ears with its concert called ‘Kürdilihicazkar Faslı’ on Saturday, May 28.
Held in north London St.James church in Islington Hoş Seda Classical Music Choir held their annual concert once again this year it was hosted by Melek Yalçın, and conducted by Dilde Adalı.
7 musicians and 18 chorists took part in the concert of the choir within the Hoş Seda Culture and Art Centre, performing to some 200 guests who attended the evening. Among the guests was Atatürk Society UK (ASUK) Chair Jale Özer, award-winning teacher Dilek Livaneli, Second Spring Association President Fatoş Ozanoğlu and Sektoral Event founder Arzu Güler.
Speaking to the guests before the concert, Dilek Altunkaş, who is the chairman of the choir, said, “The aim of the establishment of our choir is to promote our Classical Turkish Music and culture abroad, to ensure the spread of such activities. It is a very honourable task for us to transfer our culture to future generations through our classical Turkish music.”
