Harper shares May 19 message

THE Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) London Education and Culture Attaché Metin Harper has shared a message ahead of the 19 May Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day.

Saying “ Our dear young people living in the United Kingdom and the TRNC, our unity and integrity have been ensured with the principle of “national sovereignty”, the foundation of which was laid by Mustafa Kemal Atatürk on May 19, and it has been registered that the solution is only in the nation.

“Today, our indispensable source of power, “For the survival of the National Will, great duties fall on all of us, and especially on you young people, to whom Atatürk gave May 19 as a gift. It is knowing that this struggle given by you as young people has caused our only existence today. As long as we protect the modern requirements of the digital world and our historical and customary traditions and customs, our existence will continue even more strongly. We trust you. But do not forget that our duty is to work hard. Because he who loves his country the most is the one who does his duty best.

“With these feelings, we commemorate the Great Leader Veteran Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and his comrades in arms and our martyrs who sacrificed their lives for this country with mercy, gratitude and respect; I congratulate the holiday of our young people.”
