LIMASSOLLAR Association UK held a special dinner and dance to celebrate International Mother’s Day. Guest fill the Grand Palace Banqueting Suite in London, was held on Friday, May 13.
The program started with the food served to the guest, and after the meal, there was entertainment accompanied by music. The mother of the year awards were also chosen at the ball, with members of the Limasollar association giving a choir performance and a number of activities where attendees enjoyed themselves into the night.
Among the guests were The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus’ (TRNC) Education and Culture Attaché Metin Harper, non-governmental organizations and association members, and members of the were present at the ball.
Arife Retvan, President of the Association of Limassolians UK, made the following statement: “As Limassol People’s Association UK, our 20th Anniversary and Mother’s Day Celebrations brought all our friends and loved ones together, and the celebration was magnificent. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who was with us. We wish success and happiness to Hale İsmail, the mother of the year, on our last night accompanied by the magnificent service of the Grand Palace and the wonderful musical feast of DJ Ahmet.”
