Forensic autopsy report of Hasan Kutlu’s death announced

LOCALLY named as Hasan Kutlu, a member of the Turkish and Kurdish Community Solidarity Centre(Day-Mer) had passed away on 3rd September 2021. 60-year-old Hasan Kutlu, who has been at the forefront of the working class struggle since his youth and did not back down from this struggle until his last breath, passed away in London.

According to the information given by the metropolitan police in September 2021, it was stated that “A 60-year-old man was found injured on 3rd of September 2021 at 3am on a side street in Langhedge Lane, N18.” It was reported that he was in a critical condition with a seriously injured to his leg. Kutlu was believed to be returning home from North Middlesex Hospital, where he was released following treatment for Covid-19 at the time of the incident.

The cause of death of 60-year-old Hasan Kutlu, who died unexpectedly, has been under investigation for some time. In the post shared by Day-Mer on March 10, the results of Kutlu’s forensic autopsy report were announced.

The statement made by Day-Mer is as follows: “The forensic report on the death of our dear friend and member Hasan Kutlu, who passed away on September 3, 2021, and the related decision hearing have recently been completed. In the autopsy report of the specialist doctors, it was decided that Hasan Kutlu died due to multi-organ failure due to covid-19 and pneumonia. The police investigation stated that no other reason or suspicious situation was found in Hasan Kutlu’s death, the police decided not to prosecute the incident. Hence, we would like to thank everyone who did not leave us alone and shared our pain during this process.”
