POLICE investigating the murder of Turkish-born Zafer Eren have arrested a 47-year-old man, a further arrest in their investigation since April’s shooting.

He was taken to a central London police station, from where he was bailed pending further enquiries.

Officers last month offered a reward of up to £30,000 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of those responsible for Mr Eren’s murder.

Earlier this month, 22-year-old Jamie Marsh-Smith and another man, aged 20, were arrested in Conniburrow, to the north of Milton Keynes. In a rare move Mr Marsh-Smith had been named by police as someone they would like to speak as part of their inquiries.

Detectives said the cash reward was still in place as part of their investigation.

Anyone with information is asked to call the incident room on 020 7321 7228 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

In total three men have been charged in connection with the murder.

Among them is a 20-year-old man who has been charged with his murder and will stand trial at the Old Bailey on 11 November.
