THE Turkish-Kurdish Solidarity Center (Day-Mer), operating in LONDON, made a press statement in front of the North Middlesex Hospital on Saturday, January 8, to draw attention to the problems experienced in the field of health and the working conditions of health workers.
Day-Mer officials made the following statement: “Additional budget to the NHS must be provided, let’s prevent the sale of the NHS. These days, when the epidemic is very effective, more funding and more opportunities should be allocated to health services, while the government is cutting the health budget and emphasizing that it leaves people to die. As DAY-MER and the UNITE union, we aim to strengthen the campaigns carried out to inform Turkish workers and to protect our right to health. We hear from the public and the press that a sufficient number of health professionals should be recruited and more hospitals and beds should be allocated.”
