“Alevis exists, Alevism is a right” BAF held their 5th AGM

THE British Alevi Federation (BAF) held it’s 5th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Sunday, December 12, with the motto ‘There are Alevi, Alevism is Right’.

The board of the council was formed by Baki Düzgün Dede, İsmail İncedal, Zabit Kurnaz, Derya Alibabaoğlu, Sibel Özcelik and Fatma Yıldırım Polat. Important messages were given at the general assembly, which was held at 19 points in Britain with the participation of organized institutions.

Outgoing BAF chair İsrafil Erbil made the opening speech of the ordinary assembly held in BAF’s headquarters in north London. Erbil, who did not run for a new said, “Maybe we may not be able to create a cemevi with four walls in every city. We do not have a state or capital. We are trying to survive with each other’s bites,” he said

After the speeches, the 5th term management list was announced. A change within the leadership position Co-Chairs were announced with Dilek İncedal and Müslüm Dalkılıç elected.

The border of members were also announced : Halil Akçadağ, Yaşar Akkaya, Pınar Aksu, Ali Ekber Aktepe, İsmail Aslan, Kemal Aslan, Fırat Ateşoğlu, Mahmut Aydoğan, İsmail Çandır, Gülay Dalkılıç, Zeynep Demir, Maksut Demir, Ali Demir, Garip Demirci, İsrafil Erbil, Doğan Erdoğan, Günseli Erdoğan, Lütfi Ergüven, Hasan Gül, İbrahim Has, Abidin Kala, Canan Kaya, Dilara Kaya, Filiz Koç, Yusuf Koçoğlu, Ali La Pax, Sibel Özçelik, Mehmet Sağ, Adil Şipar, Songül Tas, Cuma Ülgü, Canan Yeşiltepe , Kazim Yildirim.

The new disciplinary committee is made up of: Yusuf Özer, Özlem Şahin, Nurettin Karaoğlan, Aykut Gül, Elif Altun.

While the supervisory board now consist of: Nadide Köroğlu, Taner Çiçek, Ahmet Doğan, Gülizar Karaoğlan, Mehmet Durna.
