Tilkiler Community Centre (TTM) held its 9th Annual General Meeting(AGM) electing new co-chairs of the board of directors, working commissions, and Culture, Art and Literature committees.
One of the local associations of Turkish communities based in London, it started its activities in 2010. The Tilkiler Village is one of the largest immigrant communities from Maraş and its districts. In England, where approximately 600 families live, the management of the association decided to hold a congress every two years for the first time. The AGM, which was held with great participation, will continue its work with the new management.#
The new board of directors began its work by electing its co-chairs. The new term co-chairs Yeşim Dağçayı and Erdoğan Sungun were unanimously elected. The new board of directors are Mustafa Kendir, Fatma Sazdili, Erol Yaygir, Mustafa Özkuluk, Gönül Ordu, Nurten Topsögüt, Yusuf Dilegelen, Ruhi Karadağ, Gulcan Ocakkuran, Fatma Montenegro, Ibrahim Sabahat, Cihan Askin , Hatice Tugrul, Erol Ovayolu, Elif Özüpekce, Ali Bozkina, Emrah Atiz, Emrah Karadağ, Dogan Gultutan, Ibrahim Ovayolu, Ali Suluhan, Hasan Sakızdağ and İbrahim Kaşısarı.
The board of directors established special working groups to solve the problems of families, women and young people in Tilkiler. In addition, the Youth and Sports commission, the Culture, Art, Literature and Kurdish Language Commission, the Education Commission, the Women and Family Commission, the Foxes Community Centre Association Working Commission, the Craftsmen and Working Life Commission, and the Press and Public Relations units.
