In the last 24 hours, 46,807 new cases of covid have been reported by the UK government.
This is nearly 10,000 more cases than yesterday(November 17) reported 37,243.
199 more deaths were reported taking the total number of lives lost to covid to 143,559.
So far 50,679,073 (88.1%) people have had their first dose, 46,087,958(80.1%) their second dose and 13,879,311(24.1%) have had their booster jabs admisitered.
