THE Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC)’s London Education and Culture Attaché Metin Harper has shared a video following uncertainly and questions raised by those travelling or planning to from TRNC to the UK.
As September approached many international students get ready to travel to the UK to start their new year at university, however, unlike before coronavirus has meant that new international travel requirements have.
Harper shared a video on Tuesday with details following many questions students and travellers are now asking.
Emphasizing that being vaccinated in the North or the South does not make any difference regarding the entry to the UK without quarantine, Harper said that before the flight, the “Passenger Locator” form for the UK should be filled and the vaccination section completed.
Explain that problems arising with PCR tests is because each airline companies also set its rules for flight and what type of test they accept “Whether the airline company you will use accepts the PCR test in the North or the PCR test in the South, the test need to be done 72 hours before the flight.” Therefore he urged anyone travelling to the UK to check with their airline company ahead of time to make sure they carry out the correct PCR required.
The details of the test will also need to be upload when completing the “Passenger Locator” form which needs to be done within 48hour before arrival in the UK and this should be taken into mind when arranging your PCR test.
