The UK has reported over 16,000 new cases of Covid for the second day in a row.
16,7003 new cases were reported and a further 21 coronavirus-related deaths in the latest 24-hour period, according to government data.
So far just over 82% of all UK adults have had their first vaccine dose, with over 60% receiving their second.
