Limassollar Association UK, held a special dinner celebrated Father’s Day on June 18.
Members joined together for a celebration ahead of fathers day on Sunday 20, where Tevfik Zekai, a member of the board of directors and one of the founding partners of Zek&Co accounting firm, was awarded father of the year by the association.
The opening of the event started with a special poetry reading for Father’s Day was given by committee member Duygu Tağmaç.
Afterwards, chair Arife Retvan, took the floor and made a speech by stating that fathers are a safe harbour, she went on to present Mr Zekai, the ‘Father of the Year’ award in the presence of the entire board of directors and members.
The members also enjoyed the dinner followed by a bit of traditional folklore dancing.
