Limassollar Association celebrated 19 May the Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day they organised together with their members and guest at a special lunch.
The event which took place on Wednesday 19 May, started with the opening speech of Arife Retvan, the President of the Limassol People Association, and joyful moments were experienced with the anthems and the song of Leymos.
Retvan said: “Congratulations on the May 19 Youth and Sports Day, on which we celebrate its 102nd anniversary, firstly to our Nation and then to our youth. We are always trying to stay young intellectually and to be renewed with the developments of the smart age. We wish good luck to those who survived the unfortunate epidemic. Today, we both commemorate Atatürk and celebrate the holiday of our youth. We are on leave in all circumstances, not just in words, we are with our youth under all circumstances.”
