Harper: National Will is our indispensable source of power

THE Turkish Republic of North Cyprus (TRNC) London Education and Culture Attaché Metin Harper has shared a message for May 19^th the Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day message.

Saying: “Our dear young people living in the UK and TRNC,

With the principle of “national sovereignty”, the foundation of which was laid by Mustafa Kemal Atatürk on May 19, our unity and integrity has been ensured, and it has been proven that the remedy is only in the nation.

Today, for all of us and especially you our youth, to whom Atatürk gave May 19 as a gift, have great duties in keeping our “National Will”, which is our indispensable source of power. As long as we protect our historical and customary traditions and customs, our existence will continue even stronger. We trust you. However, we should not forget that our duty is to work hard, because the one who loves their homeland the best is the one who does his duty.

With these feelings, he commemorates the Great Leader Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and his comrades and our sainted martyrs who gladly sacrificed their lives for this country with mercy, gratitude and respect; I congratulate you, our youth.”
