The latest government figures also show 33,257,651 have now received their first dose of a coronavirus vaccine, while 11,192,601 have had both jabs.
Meaning 1 in every 5 adults has had their vaccine.
Infection rates falling among all age groups in England, Public Health England says
Case rates in England are continuing to fall among all age groups during the nationwide vaccine roll-out.
The highest rate is among 10 to 19-year-olds, with 42.3 cases per 100,000 people in the seven days to April 18, down week-on-week from 45.6, Public Health England said.
Among 30 to 39-year-olds the rate has dropped from 44.3 to 34.2, and for 20 to 29-year-olds it is down from 39.0 to 32.1.
