“My Eid” contest for 23 April Children’s Day opens

THE Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB) has started a ‘My Eid’ contest for young children from across the world to celebrate the month of Ramadan and April 23 National Sovereignty and Children’s Day.

YTB ​​organizes the “My Holiday” contest with the theme of Ramadan or 23 April National Sovereignty and Children’s Day in Composition, Poetry, Story, Painting and Digital Painting categories and it is open to children aged 4-14.

“What do the holidays mean to you, what feelings do they make you experience, what do they remind you of, how do these two holidays affect the lives of children in your city?” The winning works will be rewarded in the competition, where their questions will be answered in different categories.

All prize winners will be informed via the e-mail address or phone number they submitted during the application. Successful candidates in the competition will be rewarded with a gift package from YTB Children’s Academy. YTB ​​Children’s Academy gift package consists of an educational set consisting of 2 games and 2 books, as well as materials that take children on a journey of science and nature.

All children between the ages of 4-14 who are Turkish citizens, dual citizens or blue card holders living abroad will be able to apply to the My Eid contest. The works of the children who want to participate in the contest must be submitted through the “My Eid” (Benim Bayramım) application form, deadline dates and more information can be found at  www.cocukakademisi.ytb.gov.tr/benimbayramim.
