‘The Future for Cyprus?’ webinars continue with guest Jack Straw

An online webinar series on  ‘the Future for Cyprus?’ continues this week with the guests including the UK’s former Home Secretary and  Secretary of State under Tony Blair’s Labour government during 1997-2006 Jack Straw.

Tomorrow the online event will take place at 7 pm (UK time) organised by BTCA, CTCA & Circle Foundation the panel will be looking at key questions in the lead up to next months 5+1 meeting when officials from the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus(TRNC), the Republic of Cyprus, the UK, Greece, Turkey and the UN will meet to discuss the Cyprus issue.

Guest on the panel will include Special Representative of TRNC President Ersin Tatar- Ergün Olgun, Lord Northbrook  Co-Chair of APPG TRNC, Sir David Amess MP for Southend West and Professor of Political Science and International Relations, Maltepe, Istanbul Dr Hasan Ünal.

Former UK Government Minister Brooks Newmark will be hosting the third  ‘Question Time’ style webinar, panellists will be asked; What can we hope for from the Geneva Summit? How firmly are Turkey committed to a two-state solution?
