Mover than 1.5 million people were tested for coronavirus on Wednesday (March 10) the highest daily figures of testing recorded.
Of the 1,554,080 people tested just 6,730 people were positive.
Testing in the 7 days has risen by 69.8% in the UK, nearly 100,000,000 covid tests have been done out by the NHS.
This week is the first time the number of daily covid test carried out has passed 1 million.
Since Monday the daily test figures has passed 1 million, with 1,295,525 on Monday (March 8) and 1,374,579 on Tuesday (March 9).

As of Wednesday, 23,053,716 people have had their first does of the covid-vaccine in the UK.
The number of people that have had their second doses is 1,351,515 people.
The daily figures of first dose vaccine administered feel on Wednesday to 243,887 compared to the previous weeks which saw the daily figure of over 400,000.
The number of people having their second doses has risen to hight daily figures since January 10.
97,162 people received their second doses on Wednesday.
