Women’s Platform UK (WPUK) President Nilgün Yıldırım is among the finalists in the “Global Woman Award”, which will take place in the UK on March 8, International Women’s Day.
Yıldırım, who has achieved various successes as the founding president of the UK Women’s Platform (WP-UK), has been nominated for the “Honorary Award”.
Making a statement on her social media account, Yıldırım stated that she was among the candidates alongside lawyer Aynur Gökıldız, who has worked with the WPUK Platform for years, and said: ‘‘As the Founding President of the WPUK, we learned that we are in the list of finalists in the Global Woman Summit Award 2021 – Honorary Award due to the Social work we have been doing for years.
WPUK -Women’s Platform UK, our lawyer friend, with whom we have worked shoulder to shoulder for years. Aynur Gokyildiz was included in the finalists list in the Inspirational Award and in the inspiring women category for her work in the field of humanitarian assistance to women and children.
