A statement on Prince Philp’s health has been shared following his weeks stay at the King Edward VII’s Hospital in central London.
The palace said: ‘The Duke of Edinburgh remains at King Edward VII’s Hospital where he is receiving medical attention for an infection.
‘He is comfortable and responding to treatment but is not expected to leave hospital for several days.’
The 99-year-old, was admitted to hospital as a precaution last week. His stay is not related to coronavirus.
Both the duke and the Queen, 94, received Covid-19 vaccinations last month.
