The UK Turkish Language Culture and Education Consortium has become a exam centre

The UK Turkish Language Culture and Education Consortium has officially become an exam centre for Pearson Edexcel l Turkish GSCE and A-level.

Chair Nuriye Mertcan said: Our official application has been accepted for the UK Turkish Language Culture and Education Consortium to become a GCSE and GCE A Level exam centre. Thus, our children who continue their education in our Turkish schools will be able to take these important exams at the centre of the Education Consortium. The Education Consortium has made the exam centre application in partnership with the National Resource Centre for Supplementary Education (NRCSE), a foundation like itself. The main purpose of my centre is to support language tests.

One of the biggest obstacles to exams is finding an exam centre. After this decision, our children will not need to call the centre to take their exams and the number of students who will take the exam will increase. Thus, the possibility of cancelling Turkish GCSE and A-Level exams in the coming years will be reduced. The deadline for application is 8 March 2021.”

Mertcan also added that the name of the exam centre will be”Community Language Examination Center”.
