The statement made by the KTGAB Chair Nafiya Horozoğlu she said: ‘‘This aid campaign we have organised as part of the fight against coronavirus, we aim to support our community and its members who are going through difficult times. Our aim is to provide additional support to our members of the low-income who suffer due to the measures taken, especially those who live off a daily wage. We are going through a very difficult process, both socially and economically. We will do our best to meet the needs of those in need or our elderly members.
“We will get through this difficult process hand in hand. Anyone can donate any amount they wish to the account number which will be used for social solidarity or donate food/essentials to our donation point. We would like to thank the non-governmental organisations that believe and support us on this path we set out with the statement ‘We will succeed together’; we will overcome this pandemic with solidarity by joining our forces. Everyone’s support is very important for this solidarity campaign. ”
