Armed Trump supports storm US Capitol

The US Capitol building was plunged into lockdown as crowds protesting Joe Biden’s victory in November’s presidential elections stormed through security barricades around the building where politicians had met to vote on the Democrat’s victory.

Trump  supports have stormed US Capitol as senators were set to confirm Joe Biden Presidential win in the senate.

Tearing down metal barricades at the bottom of the Capitol’s steps and were met by officers in riot gear.

Some tried to push past the officers who held shields and officers could be seen firing pepper spray into the crowd to keep them back.

With some people in the crowd were shouting “traitors” as officers tried to keep them back.

Senator who were on the senate floor debate were barricade in, told to get onto the floor and gas mask were handed out to protect them again tear gas.

The senator included Vice President Mike Pence have been evaluated and taken to secure locations.

A spokesperson for the Washington DC Fire and EMS says they have had several people treated for injuries and an unconfirmed report of a person who has been shot at the Capitol.
