THE Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) Representative Oya Tunalı shared her new year messaged saying: “As 2020 is coming to an end, we are getting ready to leave behind an anxious and troubled year. Due to the coronavirus pandemic that has been tackled globally this year, we are going through this difficult process in solidarity with our society and organizations in the UK. We help our brothers and sisters in distress by attaching importance to positive thinking and continuing our solidarity activities. We hope to reach healthier days in the spring months, which we expect with patience, by continuing to follow the measures in 2021.
We are all proud of the hard work and success of you, our esteemed citizens, who have settled in the UK for many years. Your successful work in many fields such as politics, commerce, economy, art and law is our assurance for our diaspora. One of the most determining factors in the relations between the UK and our country, which is the guarantor country with which we have a long history, is your presence here.
