Fourteen new COVID-19 cases were reported in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus on Monday, following 1,834 diagnostic tests.
An 83-year-old woman who was receiving treatment in ICU died from the virus on Tuesday.
She had underlying health problems.
Her death takes the total number of death in the TRNC from Covid-19 to six.
Currently, one more patient is receiving treatment in intensive care.
Five of the individuals who tested positive arrived into the country via air, six via ferry, and two were in quarantine through contact tracing and one case through local transmission.
