“Serious incident” following large explosion near Bristol

South Western Ambulance Service said it was responding to a “serious incident”.

Emergency crews are dealing with a large explosion at a warehouse in Avonmouth, near Bristol.

Fire crews were called at 11.20am.

Avon Fire and Rescue Service said there were “multiple casualties”, although it could not say exactly how many.
