21-year-old Turkish Cypriot Kayra Özsezer, residing in London, died on Thursday, November 26th.
Özsezer had been struggling with his illness, which he learned on the eve of the wedding, for a long time. Özsezer, who made marriage plans with 20-year-old Ariona Kryeziu, whom he wanted to be his life partner on Valentine’s Day in 2017, found out the bitter truth from the trauma he experienced during his holiday in Cyprus.
Özsezer’s wife, Ariona Kryeziu, in her post on social media, announced Özsezer’s death with great sorrow on 26 November Thursday evening.
Kryeziu made the following statement: ‘‘I want to announce the death of Kayra. We are all very sorry, our pain is incredible. I will have to stay away from everyone for two or three weeks to perceive what is happening. Once I’m ready, I will launch a charity campaign for the funeral through ‘GoFundMe’ and keep everyone informed. Kayra will always be a part of me, I will never forget her.”
