“Homeland Path” website launched for those travelling to Turkey by road

TURKS Abroad and Related Communities Directorate (YTB) announced that they have prepared a website called “Homeland Path” for those citizens living abroad planning to go Turkey by road.

In a written statement made by YTB, with regards to the coronavirus precautions an additional convenient transit route has been prepared on the website for the Turkish citizens planning to go Turkey. Turkish citizens can access this route and further guidelines through the website “Memleket Yolu” (Homeland Path).

The statement outlines that the website highlights important notes to be aware of whilst travelling, such as rules at borders, updated road condition information and further information.

In addition, it is stated that citizens who encounter problems on their journeys are provided with a live WhatsApp support service which is noted on the website. This will be a source of contact to find solutions to their problems, and it is declared that citizens can follow the densities at the border gates on website instantly.

The website, where current announcements are also shared, includes the “YTB Pocket Guide”, which contains detailed information on many issues such as passport, customs, transportation, health, social security, Blue Card, tax, military service, education and population transactions.
