Day-Mer Festival will be held online this year

THE Turkish Kurdish Community Solidarity Center (Day-Mer) announced that they will organize the culture and art festival, which is traditionally held every year will take place over the internet this year.

In the statement made by Day-Mer, it was stated that despite the restrictions caused by pandemic, the festival will take place and in this context, the festival, which includes activities where women, children, young people, and everybody can express themselves, will be organized online this year.

In the written statement signed by the Day-Mer Board of Directors, “We will share our 30-year worth of achievements with you during the festival, which we will organize online, as the measures limiting the regulation of necessary and massive events to the physical distance rule still apply…

As in every festival, we will discuss the most burning problems and developments that our societies face together and seek common solutions.”

Adding  “We cannot host you in the event areas of the 31st festival that we will hold online due to the mandatory conditions we all witnessed. But we hope that this time, you will host us in the places you are on your screens, and this meeting will be held. ”
