Turkey’s ambassador to London, Abdurrahman Bilgiç, attended an air show in Gloucestershire as part of a conference at RAF Waddington.
Mr Bilgiç, who visited the exhibition stand belonging to the SoloTürk team, congratulated the Turkish military personnel taking part in the exhibition.
SoloTürk staged a popular show of their own on 5-6 July, including a low-flying F16 that jolted spectactors as it came into land.
Mr Bilgiç said events like these were important in developing Turkish-British relations and exhibiting Turkey’s aviation abilities.
