ISLAM Community Milli Gorus (ICMG) hosted an Iftar dinner with ambassadors and diplomats from 15 different countries at the Grand Palace Banqueting Suite at 242 High Road, Wood Green on Monday, May 13.
Iftar dinner held also saw the Consul of Turkey Cinar Ergin and Counsellor for Religious Services Mahmut Özdemir joined along with members of the community. ICMG President Ubayda Bilaloğlu made the opening speech following by speeches by Lord Sheikh and London Consul of Turkey Cinar Ergin. The program ended with the Prayers read after the iftar dinner.
The evening program included a Quran recitation from the head of education Hasan Catir followed by a speech from regional chairman Ubeyde Bilaloglu who highlighted in a speech “We are all one family, from the same mother and father.”
