HARINGEY Council is detaining on staff who are by allegation misusing parking permits to leave their cars in residential streets.
The council has notified its employees to use a close multi-storey cark park rather than leaving their cars in the Wood Green inner controlled parking zone (CPZ) succeeding accusations from people living in the constituency.
Additional methods could consist of harder penalties for employees seen parking in the wrong place.
Creanbrook Park Residents Association (CPRA) contacted the council in May asserting it was becoming “impossible” for local residents to park in four streets in Wood Green due its employees parking their vehicles all day.
