A woman was raped in an horrific attack while she walked alone through a north London park.
The victim, aged in her 40s, was a secluded area of Finsbury Park when she was targeted, Scotland Yard said.
Police believe the incident took place near Finsbury Park Gate between 10.40pm on Wednesday, July 11 and 8am the following morning.
Detective Inspector Jimi Tele, from the Met’s Child Abuse and Sexual Offences Command and who is leading the investigation, said the victim had been left “extremely shaken”.
He said: “This nasty attack has left the victim extremely shaken. We are determined to identify those involved and bring them to justice.

“Your information could prove vital to building a clear picture of what took place.”
